FAITH IN THE CITY WE INHABIT
Call out to artists and designers – online submissions
This is a call out to artists and designers to showcase new artworks on the theme of ‘faith in the city we inhabit’.
Where do you go for rest and reflection and what makes this place special to you?
Entries must communicate and capture notions of a sense of place, provoke a strong feeling and address the theme. Entries can take the form of a short film, painting, photography, mixed media or poetry. A nominal fee of £75 is offered to 20 shortlisted artists.
To submit your work: Email up to three photographs (or film footage) of your entry with details of your submission like medium used, size of artwork etc., alongside a statement saying what contemplation, spirituality or faith means to you personally, giving links to any previous works*

This arts programme coincides with the opening of a new Zawiya by the School of Sufi Teaching (London) and is supported by Amal (a Saïd Foundation programme).
* All entries have to be digitally submitted by the deadline for consideration. Shortlisted artists are expected to showcase on an online digital platform. New artworks created within the last 12 months will be considered. You may be asked to show the actual artwork for a group exhibition at a later date. Two online artist-led workshops will accompany the exhibition – dates yet to be confirmed.
