UNITY in MULTIPLICITY

Open call to musicians and poets – online submissions

This is an open call to musicians, poets and spoken word artists to present work on the theme of unity in multiplicity.

This could be interpreted as unity with others or something larger than oneself, or multiplicity within unity. Entries can take the form of recorded music, an instrumental, storytelling, poetry recitation or a mixture of genres. Entries are invited to explore the theme and portray a strong message. Open to all creatives of faith and no faith.

A nominal fee of £75 is offered to shortlisted artists. Shortlisted acts will take part in a curated online cultural evening or submit high quality recordings to perform online for 15 minutes.

To submit your work: email up to three audio/ video recordings alongside a short statement saying what unity and multiplicity mean to you, giving links to any previous work.

Send your entry to Saif Osmani at the following email address: schoolofsufiteaching@gmail.com

Shortlisted participants will be notified two weeks after deadline.

This arts programme is supported by Amal (a Saïd Foundation programme).
