Artist Statement: In my artistic work I have always been interested in exploring what lies between different spaces, ideas, beliefs. Often these ‘in-between spaces’ hold some surprises for us, which can help us to gain some unexpected knowledge. As a person who grew up in a catholic family I am very grateful to have the opportunity to practice Sufi meditation and to learn about the Islamic faith. It has enriched my spiritual practice and made me more aware that there are many paths that can get us on the same spiritual journey.
